Ribbon Turquoise Tufacast Ring

This handsome Pilot Mountain ribbon turquoise from American soil has been perfectly set within this perfectly imperfect, organic tufacast band and bezel. All elements completely made by hand in our studio in Southern Louisiana. 

Tufacast is an ancient technique where a mold is carved out of stone and molten metal, recycled sterling silver in this case, is poured into the mold. There is then many steps of filing, sanding, shaping, hammering, polishing, etc. to get a ring like this to its true glory.
